Darcy grew up in New Hampshire where she got her first taste of performing. She
appeared in an Improv troupe called THE PLAYERS and starred in her first play, Wendy
Wasserstein's BOY MEETS GIRL.
Continuing her theater training at Colgate University, she was featured in such
productions as HARVEY, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING ERNEST, and THE
LADY'S NOT FOR BURNING. While studying in London at the British American
Drama Academy, Darcy appeared in a renowned production of THE HOUSE OF
BERNARDA ALBA.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Darcy has appeared in numerous films and
television shows, including CSI, SCARE TACTICS, MADISON HEIGHTS, the growing
cult phenomenon STEPHEN KING'S NIGHT SURF, NOAH'S ARC, and a recurring
role in BREAKING UP WITH SHANNEN DOHERTY.
Most recently, Darcy shot a starring role in the psychological thriller, DRIFTER,
a feature film directed by award-winning Dutch director Roel Reine. She stars as Grace,
a landscape photographer, in this surreal film noir. Darcy appears in a co-starring role in
the film, BEHIND THE SMILE, written and directed by Damon Wayans. She had a
starring role in the gritty drama DARK HEART, written and directed by Kevin Lewis.
She also appears in MGM's film MATERIAL GIRLS, with Hilary Duff and Anjelica Huston.
In the commercial arena, Darcy is one of the more active performers in the
business. She starred in the extensive BUD LIGHT "TED FERGUSON" campaign,
which has received tremendous attention, including getting many thousands of hits on the
Bud website that further explores the wacky comedic story line.
Always close to the theater, this multi-talented actress has most recently written,
directed and starred in the critically acclaimed stage production. THE REUNION,
at the Howard Fine Theater. She starred in Art Brown's hit play,
MINDING GOODMAN, as the mentally challenged Cheryl Goodman, at the Edgemar
Center for the Arts in Santa Monica. She also starred in WHAT I HEART ABOUT
IRAQ, the controversial play produced at the Fountain Theater which garnered
international acclaim.
